Here we go again. This is probably my fifth attempt at having a blog. I'm not sure why I think I'll keep this one going when I haven't had success in the past. Well, I guess After the Lightning (a blog about the Oklahoma City Thunder) that I co-wrote with my buddy Josh lasted a year. But none of my attempts at a personal blog have lasted longer than a month.
So why am I doing this again? I guess it all gets back to my childhood dream of being an author even though my writing skills are mediocre at best. I can, I think, be amusing at times (this post is going to be pretty humorless though).
Contrary to previous blogs of mine, I expect this one to be rather scatterbrained. I'll write about whatever interests me at the time and at whatever frequently I desire. I'm hoping that the topic variety keeps me interested (I'm not really concerned about keeping readers interested if somehow there are any).
I expect that I'll write about Where's George, food trucks, running, sports, my dogs, legos, and weight loss/maintenance (the food trucks don't help with this!). I'm sure there'll be other topics too.
So strap in and buckle up. 2012 is here, and hopefully it won't be the end of the year as we know it.
