Hits bounced back in July, and I recorded my third best month ever. With no hitless days, I have another long hit streak brewing.
- Predictions
- 13.66 Bills Entered Per Day
- I entered 457 bills in June for an average of 14.74 bills per day. This puts the yearly total to 3681 and drops the daily average to 17.28. To hit this goal, I'll just have to average 8.62 for the rest of the year. Since I continue to be well ahead of this goal, I'm upping my prediction to 6000 bills (last month I upped it to 5750). The predictions below will be based on this updated number.
- 1231 Hits in 2012 / 4030 Overall Hits
- I got 137 hits in July bringing the yearly total to 919 which is ahead of where I need to be for my 2012 goal. Including the new data from July, the hit prediction program from the original prediction post calculated that I'd get 616 more hits in 2012. That would result in 1535 hits in 2012 and 4334 overall. My expected slugging percentage would be 19.08% (down 0.07% from last month due to the increase in bills entered).
- 1015 Additional Bills with Hits in 2012 / 3445 Overall Bills with Hits
- Of the 137 hits, 114 were the initial hit on a bill putting my additional bills with hits in 2012 at 765. Using the output from the prediction program and Excel, I obtained a calculation of 503 more bills with hits. That would result in 1268 in 2012 and 3698 overall. That would put my expected hit rate at 16.27% (down 0.04% from last month again due to the increase in bills entered).
- State Bingo Completion
- Still waiting on West Virginia.
- One Additional California County Hit in 2012 / 53 Counties Hit Overall
- Completed in May. No new additional CA counties in July.
- 17 Additional FRB Bingos / 57 FRB Bingos Overall
- Completed in June. I completed 1 additional FRB bingos in July to put my total to 59. That puts me on pace for 28 in the year which would suggest I'll end the year with 68.
- No More Than 13 Hitless Days
- I had no hitless days in July. With just 4 so far this year, I'm in really good shape on this one.
- 80+ Day Hit Streak
- Already completed (81 day streak). Current streak is at 38 days.
- Goals
- National Rank Under 1000 in November & December
- I was never higher than 864 in July. This is looking like a slam dunk.
- State Rank Under 75
- My rank was as low as 62 in July with the highest rank being 73. I'm in really good shape for this one.
- $1s Making Up >87.29% of All Entries
- I ended the month at 87.05% (up 0.13% from last month) which was a nice bounce back from June.
- More Series 2009 Entries Than 2003A
- 2003A's lead is now under 300. I think 2009 will take the lead in August.
- Decrease San Francisco "L" FRB Bills Below 50%
- The San Francisco percentage is now down to 48.4%. I think it will continue to decrease as my insertion rate is high, and then the key will be whether or not it stays below.
- Increase Percentage of Boston "A", Cleveland "D", St. Louis "H", Philadelphia "C", Minneapolis "I", and Kansas City "J" FRB Bills
- All are currently above the desired percentage.
- 30 Zip Codes with 25+ Entries
- No zip codes added in July, so I'm still at 26 zip codes with 25+ entries. Should add at least one in August
- Wishes
- 5 Hit Bill
- No five hit bill yet.
- New Record Month for Hits
- July was my third best month for hits. New record is still 160 hits.
- Surpass 500 2006 L-L $1 Entries
- Completed in May. None (!) entered in July.
- Surpass 400 Entries with one 2009 FRB/Block Combo and 300 with Another
- My top 2009 block is LG with 331 entries with 10 entered in July and 166 total in 2012. July was a bit of a drop off for LG, and unless it picks back up, LG won't get to 400. LB is second with 308 (5 in June, 73 in 2012). Third is LF with 283 (5 in June, 88 in 2012). LF should hit 300. No other series 2009 FRB/block combo has reached 200 entries.
- Complete Non-Star Portions of Series 2003A and 2006 $1 Bingo
- I got a hit on a 2006 $1 GD in July to mark off another spot. However, I still have 5 2006 spots to go and 6 2003A. This one is not going to happen.
- 4+ Year Active Bill
- Completed in June. No additional 4+ year active bills in July.
